Lavandin Essential Oil is a hybrid of two lavenders, True Lavender and Spike Lavender, it is also known as the bastard Lavander. It originates from France and its odour is less floral and more aromatic than Lavander, and its cultivation gives it a slightly higher medicinal potency, but not the same burn-healing abilities as True lavander. 

Plant Part Used
The essential oil is extracted from the flowering top part of hybrid plant of True (Lavandula Angustifolia) and Spike (Lavandula Latifolia) Lavander plants. 

Extraction Process:
Lavandin Essential Oil is extracted through steam distillation. The flowering parts of the Lavandula x intermedia plant are subjected to steam, which is then condensed to separate the essential oil from the water.
