The essential oil is extracted from the needles of pine trees, specifically from the fresh green needles. 

Extraction Process:
Pine Essential Oil is primarily extracted through steam distillation. The fresh pine needles are harvested from the tree and immediately subjected to steam distillation. The steam is then condensed and separated to yield the oil. Some methods may also involve cold pressing the needles to extract the oil, but steam distillation is the most common method.
