Revand Chini is an Ayurvedic Herb used in the treatment of constipation due to its purgative and laxative action.
Revand chini act as a liver tonic and increases the production of bile in liver which further regulates the weight and fat and is useful in liver disorders.
Revand chini is also used to treat indigestion, acidity and it tones up the gastric and intestine.
Externally, the paste of revandchini powder is applied on pimples, acne and pigmentation to hasten wound healing.
Revand chini are also used for cleaning teeth and sprinkled over ulcers for quick healing.
Avoid use in chronic diarrhea.
Do not use in epilepsy, gout & rheumatism.
It contains oxalic acid so do not use in uric acid diseases, renal or gall bladder stones.
Do not use in pregnancy, or while breast-feeding. It may be secreted in milk and induce purgation in baby.
It should not be used for long-term.
It gives a deep tinge to the urine.
